IN THIS LESSON

In this lesson, we take a practical look at growth mindset as it shows up in everyday work.

Growth mindset, as originally defined by Carol Dweck, is the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through effort, learning, and perseverance. In organizational life, however, mindset is rarely fixed. It is hybrid and situational.

People move between openness, defensiveness, curiosity, and avoidance depending on pressure, expectations, and psychological safety. To reflect this reality, we work with Navigating the Mindset Zones: Comfort, Fear, Learning, and Growth.

Mindset is not who you are. It is where you are.
