The Mindset-First Network

A community and learning space for leaders and teams who want to do more than just stay busy

Most organizations talk about high performance, growth mindset, and psychological safety. The challenge is not awareness. It is application.

The Mindset-First Network is a shared learning space for leadership teams and groups within organizations, including HR and People functions, who believe these topics are essential for impact and want to work with them in practice.

Our starting point is simple and deliberate.

We work with performance as a behavioural system, under real constraints, through shared language, micro-habits, and leadership behaviour.

Mindset shapes behaviour. Behaviour forms systems. Systems drive performance.

Key questions we work with:

We do not start with answers. We start with questions. The questions below are examples of how we help surface what is really going on and where small, practical changes can make a difference.

How does high performance actually show up in our everyday behaviour?

What shared foundation are we building our way of working on? Do we have common expectations, language, and reference points, or are we relying on assumptions and individual interpretation?

How do organisational constraints shape how we really behave? What does pressure, prioritisation, incentives, and limited time do to our decisions and collaboration?

Where do we lose speed, quality, or collaboration because people hesitate to speak up?

What patterns define our team dynamics today? Who speaks, who holds back, how challenge is handled, and how alignment is tested?

How does mindset show up when pressure increases? What changes when work feels steady, stretched, or overloaded?

What support do leaders actually have to work with these topics in their teams? What tools, structures, time, and settings help them, and what is missing?

How do leaders and teams learn and reflect together rather than individually? Are we building shared capability, or relying on personal insight and good intentions?

What small behavioural shifts could make a real difference right now?

How do you participate?

The Mindset-First Network is intentionally designed for teams, not individuals. We start with 4–6 teams from different organizations. These teams are co-founders and help shape the structure, focus areas, and ways of working in the network.

A team can be:

• a leadership team

• a selected cross-functional group

• a group from HR or People-People functions working closely with leaders and teams

As a co-founder, your team contributes actively to building the network and co-creating tools, approaches, and learning formats that support a mindset-first way of working in real organizational environments.

Co-founder participation

• Monthly participation fee: EUR 1,000 per team

• Covers up to 6 people per team

How we work together?

Our work in the network is organised around Learning Experiences. Each Learning Experience runs over a six-week cycle and focuses on a topic that matters to the participating teams, such as psychological safety, growth mindset, leadership behaviour, or high-performance team dynamics.

A Learning Experience is not a workshop or a training programme. It is a structured way for teams to work with one capability in real time, while continuing their day-to-day work.

Each Learning Experience typically includes:

• A shared Learning Experience document focused on one specific capability

• Real situations and cases brought in by the participating teams

• One or two facilitated sessions across the network to reflect, align, and compare perspectives

• Peer dialogue between teams on what they are seeing and trying in practice

• Open coaching and consulting with Stefan, where teams can work on their own challenges and decisions

• Simple questions, tools, and practices to test directly in everyday work

The goal is not theory or best-practice sharing. The goal is to help teams see, understand, and adjust the behavioural system they operate inside.

Who’s behind the network?

The Mindset-First Network is created and facilitated by Stefan Lindegaard, advisor, author, and facilitator with more than 25 years of experience working with leaders, teams, and organizations globally.

His work is grounded in a consistent focus on high-performance leadership, psychological safety, growth mindset, and how mindset drives behaviour and impact in real work settings.

Co-founders play a central role. This network is not delivered to participants. It is built together with them.

We are currently bringing together the first leadership teams and HR / People-People teams to join as co-founders.

If this resonates with your reality and the challenges you are working with, feel free to reach out. Together, we can focus on what truly drives performance and find better ways to lead, work, and learn.
